Saughall preschool is a charitable organisation run by a voluntary parent committee. The preschool has been established and running from the heart of Saughall village, The Vernon Institute for over 40 years.

Our long standing team is made up of mature, highly qualified practitioners that are dedicated to providing exceptional care and education for all. We place every child's personal and emotional development in high regard to ensure every child is valued, as well as providing a stimulating and enabling environment for all children to flourish and progress.

By following the Early Years Foundation Stage guidelines we ensure children are fully prepared for the transition to school. We welcome children and parents into our setting to look around and look forward to a successful partnership with your child.

Our preschool is open Monday to Thursday from 9am - 3:30pm and Fridays from 9am - 12pm.

Funded places of up to 27 hours are available from 3 years and we are now accepting childcare vouchers.

Each 3 hour session is charged at £11.80 (to include a healthy snack).

Our snacks throughout the day usually consist of fruit or vegetables, with milk or water.  We plan the menus for snacks so that they provide the children with healthy and nutritious food.  A voluntary donation of £10 per half term goes towards these menus, so do tell us about your child’s dietary needs and we will make sure that these are met.
